Welcome to the Citizens Police Academy Page
What is a Citizens Police Academy?
The Citizens' Police Academy is an exciting and educational program designed to teach the public about what it is that police officers really do. The CPA allows people to learn more about law enforcement from those who actually do the job. While participants will not become experts, they will learn about many different aspects of the job.
By allowing the public to learn about the operations of the police department, we hope that we will continue to build strong relationships with the public and combine our efforts to improve the quality of life in Granville.
Many people form their images of law enforcement from entertainment and news media, which only portray a small (and most times unrealistic) aspects of our job. Past graduates of the Granville Police Department's Citizens' Police Academies have formed a strong working relationship with the Department. As allways, CPA graduates are welcome to attend any future classes. ___________________________________________________ Granville Citizens Police Academy Class # 3 Thank You For all of your support, and hope to see you at the next class.
